The turkey's in the oven, almost done, and smelling good! We're having our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, reminiscent of my childhood when we had our big celebration with all the Bowman relatives the night before Christmas. Christmas was my Grandpa Bowman's birthday, so we always had a flaming three-layer coconut cake and all the grandchildren would assist with the candles.
