You can tell most of Indio's business comes by boat. This old sign is hidden in the grass up by the road.
My favorite place to buy mixed fruit in the colonias.
Never eaten here, but everyone says it's good!
Sign at the Isla ferry bar.
Anyone ever seen this place open? It backs into the malecon south of the Rocamar.

Love the signs. I think it's a sign that I need to get back to Isla!
Jana, I think I got that sign too!
Bob and I ate at Dona Mari - ENCHILADA SUEZA - excellent we went back two days straight!
Catz, I'm glad you told me that! Next trip!
Love your blog!!! Where is Donna Mari located?
Sandy
Sandy, I can't tell you the exact location. It's more toward the eastern side in the mid to northern part of the colonias since that's the area I was walking. It may be one street off the main divided street. I'm not much help, but I'm betting it's on Laura's map. I know I've walked past it many times and said I was going to try it!
When we were there in May of 2009 she was located down the dirt road across from Villa La Bella, follow to end,I think the name of the street was Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, take a right and she was on the right next to the bakery...when we were there in May of 2010 her place closed and for rent :(...the food was very good and so was the company!

Sandy, I know Catz and Bob ate there in July 2010, so wonder if she changed locations? Now I need to go back to see! I would have been in the vicinity of your location because I think I walked past The Mango to the south that morning and turned back into the neighborhood and walked past the Crayola house. I was thinking about skipping the June/July trip this year and just going in November, but this puzzle needs solved! : )
