Craig's Mom

Craig's mom died Saturday afternoon. She was born in 1921 and lived to the generous age of 87. This is a photo taken of her in 1943 during WWII. What a beauty! In addition, she was a wonderful kind woman to all her friends, relatives, husband, son and daughter, five grandchildren, and all the great-grandkids. As she told both of us in December, she lived a good long life and was ready to go. Craig's father died in 1981 in his early 60's and she missed him dearly. So I know she's finally happy to be on her way to meet him!

As you danced in the light with joy,
love lifted you. As you brushed against
this world so gently, you lifted us.

What a beautiful tribute. She looks like a movie star in that picture and it sounds like she left a wonderful legacy of love and kindness.
