Endless Summer, Part II

Remember my statement about the pool being permanently closed for the season due to frigid temps? Well, Craig didn't get the memo. Yesterday after we'd done a couple of hours of yardwork, he insisted on getting in the pool to cool down. Definitely crazy! Anyway, he deserves a standing ovation. The water temp is 69 degrees!

I think that deserves an encore presentation from The Sandals! Here are the boys playing the Wingnut's Theme.

Sorry we missed that! Maybe we can dare him into a repeat performance in December?

Ya know, if you lived on Lake Erie, that'd be the August temperature of the water. When people ask why Isla, I just smile.

ROFLMAO I can't stop thinking of that Seinfeld episode when George suffered 'shrinkage'.

I love surf music, Beck. A surf band called The Slackmates played around here in the late 1990s. All of the members were (and still are) accomplished musicians or producers - or both. I just searched youtube and couldn't find any videos, sorry to say. At least I have one of the CDs.

Jenny, maybe we can get him to do a swan dive off the wall into the Bumpuses heated pool. And Zina, Craig said our pool was about the same temp as Northwest lakes in the summer. Ann, it's been warm here, but the daytime temps will drop into the high 70's tomorrow!
Jeanie, I didn't ask him. Ha!
And Vee, I love The Sandals Band, probably because they're older guys and just so into it!
