These photos are from years back before we lived in Arizona. We were down here for Thanksgiving several times when our son attended ASU. I'll be taking more Southwest Christmas photos after Thanksgiving, but until then, I'll post these as a teaser! This wagon decorated for Christmas is my favorite!
Tlaquepaque in Sedona
P.S. I love that video. My two good friends and I were twirlers in the Oswego marching band. The parade scene reminds me of marching in the annual Parsons, Kansas Christmas parade back in the 60's! It was a biggie! By the way, we were TERRIBLE twirlers! :) And it appears that the year this picture was taken, we didn't even have majorette boots!

Becky!!!! We were adorable in those outfits. We didn't need to know how to twirl. LOL
I've been to Jerome - such a pretty town - and Sedona. Love that part of the country. And nice photo of you as a twirler, Beck.
And I thought I was fat then? Jenny, they were rather pitiful outfits. What year did we acquire majorette boots? Vee, I think now that the price of gasoline has bottomed, we might take a day trip to Jerome before Christmas! It's cool enough that maybe Saby could even ride along!
I've never been to that area of the country, but would love to go. I don't know, though...that pig looks downright scary!
Didn't Mrs. Shue make those outfits for us? They were definitely homemade. We got real twirler boots our sophomore year. We were so mortified by those leg things that we begged for the change. And yes, we all thought we were fat then. I thought my thighs were HUGE. Maybe that was the Twiggy influence. Or maybe AlphaP just told us we were fat? LMAO
I love the pig. TWIRL ON!!!!!!!!!!!
Deb and Moonie! Happy Thanksgiving and 'twirl on' to both of you. And Jenny, Mrs. Shue did make the outfits (Dale probably designed them). I just remember that those special panties we wore underneath were white and looked like regular underpants. Sad sad sad. :D
