Bucerias Pie Lady

This little girl was playing mud pies on the street in the mercado area when we were in Bucerias. I guess mud pies is a universal game! I kind of shudder to think what's in that dirt from the street she's using, but then again, I shudder now to think what was in my childhood sandbox!

LOL I never made mud pies. Did I have a weird, sheltered life?

Cute picture. You don't see American kids doing things like that anymore. So sad.

So cute. You know what I remember vividly about Bucerias? The chihuahuas that people had there - lots of them - and they would be standing on their roofs. Funniest thing! I guess they didn't want them wandering around loose.

Jeanie, I grew up in a little town and my sandbox was in an old tire. Maybe you were a city girl! HA!

Deb, in our neighborhood, I see kids driving their little motorized Humvees in the park. I've actually seen parents pushing a toddler in a stroller while the kid was playing a handheld electronic game. It truly IS sad! At least the kids next door and across the street are normal and ride bikes, play ball, etc....

Jeanne, I remember the chihuahuas too! The little girl was in one of the narrow streets down by the kissing bridge.
