Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

I'm detecting a trend in the neighborhood this Halloween. I do see some houses with the traditional witch/pumpkin theme, but the pirates and ghouls rule the day. Aargh aargh aargh.

Some poor witch who was chased out of the neighborhood by pirates got her hat hooked up on an ocotillo.

Wow...your neighborhood goes all out! I've seen very few Halloween decorations here so far. Maybe I'll have to check it out this weekend.

Deb, they almost decorate as much around here for Halloween as they do for Christmas. Maybe it's because there are a lot of little kids? I don't know. Usually there's just one house in a neighborhood that goes all out.

Our neighborhood decorates quite a bit too. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Any holiday around food is good in my books, and one with a focus on candy hits the top of the list.
