Pizza Pizza!

Since Craig was really only home for one full day, Saturday, we decided to make the most of it and check out a new antique store on Main Street in Gilbert. While we were there, we revisited a restaurant we hadn't been to for a few years -- Oregano's! They really have fantastic pizza! We got an early start on Saturday, so we beat the rush! No lines for a table! We parked by the funky Gilbert water tower and headed for the door.

Once seated, we ordered Diet Cokes and waited on our thin crust combo to bake. It was worth the wait! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Italian sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms.

We managed to finish most of it, but had a little bit leftover for dinner. And Oregano's always offers an extra drink to go when you're finished!

On the way to the car, I noticed a smiley face thermometer! I'm glad he's smiling about that 100 degree temp!

You mean people actually take food home and don't try to eat it all? Geez maybe I should learn that trick.

Bennie, we forgot and left the take home pizza in the car for hours (in AZ heat). I ate it anyway. I figured pizza's supposed to be hot, so what's a little extra baking time! :)
