It just hit me yesterday that this same time last year, we were enjoying Isla. Here are some newly edited photos and a few favorite repeats from our 2008 May trip!

All of them are great shots, but I really like the one of the colonias waking up in the morning. It reminded me of my last trip where I stayed at a little apartment in the colonias that had a front balcony. I would sit out there in the morning watching all the activity...scooters, taxis, bikers...I loved it!

Thanks everyone! And I do wish I was on Isla right now. I bet the water is so warm, and I also love it when it's uncrowded! My trip right after Wilma was my favorite. It was like a step back in time.
