Playa Nirvana

Sometimes on a beach vacation you discover your nirvana.  The place you could return to day after day.  The water's a beautiful pale turquoise with a perfect 80's January temp and phenomenal snorkeling right offshore.  After a salty swim, a perfectly fried red snapper and an icy cold Salva Vida await you at the bar.

This trip we found that location.  If we ever decide to splurge on a luxury vacation, we'll stay right here so we can repeat the same routine day after day.  Salty perfection!

Guess I should start buying lottery tickets!

Buenos tardes fellow blogger!

I have recently discovered your wonderful blog and wanted to tell you how very much I enjoy it. Two years ago I started blogging when my husband and I decided to "settle down" from our nomadic lifestyle. I am finding blogging to be a very rewarding process and I especially love sharing the memories of our "nomadic life."

My husband and I are natives of Southern California. When we moved to Mexico twenty years ago little did we realize that we would become full time "ex-pat" residents living and traveling throughout Mexico and Latin America. After living in Puerto Vallarta for four years I developed what my husband likes to refer to as my "itchy foot" syndrome. And that was the beginning of what I call our "nomadic lifestyle phase." I can say that it has been a wonderful adventure and I have loved it!

My blog primarily shares the places we have lived along with the many places and experiences we have enjoyed. Two years ago my husband announced that he was ready to "settle down" and ironically we have returned to Puerto Vallarta where this adventure began so many years ago. Consequently, I am sharing our life through my blog which is called MEXICO AND BEYOND: LAURA'S PHOTO JOURNEY. I am hoping you might be interested in taking a look at my blog. Any suggestions and comments would be sincerely appreciated. In the meantime, I have added your blog to my blog favorites and I look forward to enjoying more of your posts. Muchas gracias, Laura
