Santa hats on cacti just aren't doing it for me right now! Not whining, but boy am I missing Isla! Thought I'd post some photos today of our November/December month on Isla Mujeres in 2011. Despite my breaking a crown and commuting back and forth to Cancun to the dentist every week, it was a magical trip at a magical time of year. Maybe same time/same place next November/December?

So pretty -- love your colorful photos. We spent the last two Christmases in Ambergris Caye, Belize, so we are missing the island magic this year as well!
Emily, I bet you are missing the island! Funny how a place gets into our hearts.
Someday I hope to spend Xmas on Isla hopefully in the near future! Hope Craig is getting better every day!
He's much more comfortable and very mobile now. He's even stolen the car several times when the chauffeur wasn't available. He can remove the sling when he wants and the range of motion is coming back. I'm hoping in January that the surgeon will be able to give us a ballpark date on when the next surgery will be so we can start planning future adventures. For now, he's grounded!
This gets me in the spirit big time although the 22 degrees predicted for tonight will make me REALLY long for Isla. Only 11 more days! Sorry I won't get to see you but hope you have a wonderful Christmas in your new place. Helen
