The Mango Cafe continues to be one of our favorite restaurants on Isla Mujeres! All the dishes on their Caribbean-Mexican fusion menu are consistently delicioso. Craig and I made several morning trips to the Mango for breakfast, and this last trip, we finally got to experience dinner! If you haven't tried them in the evening yet, GO!
A colorful tile sign down the road marks the way. Craig usually orders an egg dish for breakfast. His favorite is the Huevos Rancheros pictured below with their wonderful potatoes.
My favorite on the breakfast menu -- West Indies Chicken Tacos!
Stuffed Chicken Breast for dinner! I can't remember if it was stuffed with papaya, mango, or guava, but it was to die for!
Craig snarfed his beautifully plated Mexican Lasagna too quickly for me to even try a bite.
The night scene at the Mango is hoppin'! Several large groups with reservations were dining there the night we popped in. They found a table for us, but next time, I'll call or stop by to set up a reservation in advance. We got lucky!
