Almost two weeks down, only six to go? I wish I was sitting in one of these loungers with a laptop rather than on my sofa at home. Somehow, I thought working from home would be a beach, but it turns out to be the usual be-atch!
Not to whine and sound like a spoiled teenager, but the virtual workplace is boring. I underestimated the value of weirdo-watching on the job. No Elmer Fudds seated in front of me! Other than a few anonymous messages per week, there's no contact other than performance statistics. Unbelievably, I don't even know the name of my supervisor, if I actually have one? Weird!
Must keep my eye on the goal. Each week is one week closer to freedom and two tickets to Isla!

I agree! For me there are too many distractions at home that keep me from working. I really have to push myself to sit down & get to it! But Isla is a great goal! We may go in June, too --if I can kind good airfare!
Ann, I've been looking at airfare almost everyday. It's up around $700 per person roundtrip which is nuts. Same thing happened last year when we went in June, only I just needed one ticket since I was using points. Hope we get there, but I don't feel like paying $600 apiece or more.
If the house gets too boring, why not ask Craig to take his kayak to the backyard ? Then after a few minutes you can run out and save his life!
drgeo, too funny! He could kayak in the pool, but I'm not jumping into that water until it's 86 degrees!
