When Craig saw Stumpy, he went into a lengthy explanation about how iguanas can regenerate their tails. I vaguely recall something about worms regenerating body parts from high school biology, but I was amazed he remembered that fact about iguanas. I think he responded with something like -- Stick with me baby and I'll show you the world?
Sorry Stumpy, but it kind of repulses me. As a child, I also couldn't touch the encyclopedia pages with photos of snakes or spiders. Maybe that's why I majored in English Lit in college.

For the last couple of years we've had a Western Fence Lizard in the yard who's missing not only his tail but a back foot as well. These lizards survive by exercising constant vigilance, so of course we named him Mad-eye Moody. http://plantagarden-itllgrowonyou.blogspot.com/2010/11/one-tough-survivor.html
Kay, great story! I'm also amazed at those zuchinni blossoms. I keep trying to post on your blog, but it takes me into a loop with constant signing in and word verifications. I've had the same problem for the last few months with any Blogger blog if I'm posting for the first time. Not sure what's going on, but I can't even stayed signed in with my own blog.
I had somebody else tell me they've had trouble commenting recently; I'll check it out and see if there is something that makes it more difficult that I could correct. I love comments (good ones, anyway).
Well, I fiddled with a few things and we'll see if it works. Or you can e-mail me at KTeeters3@gmail.com
Funny, I didn't notice this guy the whole week we were there! Not very observant, I guess!
