OMG! The food put Soggy Peso to shame! I never dreamed a chain's barbecue could be that good! My cellphone was the only camera I was packing, so you'll have to excuse the quality of the photos.
We were greeted by the pig upon arrival. We barely beat the Friday night crowd and were seated immediately.
I ordered the BBQ Chicken Platter with corn on the cob, garlic mashed potatoes, slaw, and the honey corn muffin. It was fantastic!
Craig ordered the Famous Dave's Sampler with ribs, chicken tenders, chicken wings, catfish, and onion rings. A real heart clogger, but it was fantastic! He shared with me and still had a nice doggie bag for a Saturday snack.
A manager stopped by the table and presented us with a small bottle of Famous Dave's BBQ sauce, a carryout menu, and a coupon for our next visit. We'll definitely be back!
As I said, all we do is work and eat now. Saturday morning I was up bright and early to head into work. Two more weeks is now my mantra. Some people are working over 60 hours a week on this project, but I've decided to limit myself to nine hour weekdays and a shortened Saturday. But rumor has it next week we'll be working Saturday and Sunday? Ouch!

My parents love Famous Dave's and drive from Scottsdale to Mesa for it all the time. The manager there says that they are in negotiations with a property owner for a location within 2 miles from us. I am not a BBQ fan, but Keith is, so I expect we will be going there often.
Chrissy, we're originally from Kansas City, so we both like BBQ. The menu is pretty varied, with salads, burgers, etc... I have to say, it was good! We went to the San Tan one. It's about 5 miles away, which is nothing around here! Like your new profile pic!
So it wasn't just me! I've eaten at Famous Dave's here in Indiana twice and thought it was wonderful also. I thought maybe I was just extra hungry! I love their sweet & zesty sauce.
