Well, I'm off in my rent a wreck to do some antiquing this morning while I'm in this part of the country. That would be in the corner where Kansas/Oklahoma/Missouri join. By the way, ain't it a good lookin' car! So I thought I'd post a few photos from my antiquing trip to Miami/Globe last weekend. I'll take my camera today and try and take some photos along the way.
What's this guy's name? I think I missed him on Saturday mornings! Seriously, anyone know?
But we all recognize this guy!
Thank ya, thank ya very much.
I love anything that's shiny red!I'll have some of them french fried potaters! (Actually, maybe I should pass!)

Hamburglar, wasn't it?
It was the Hamburglar.. So you are in my old stomping grounds Beck. Your up by Miami, Coffeeville, Bartlesville & Joplin.
I lived in OKC for years and used to go up in that area for fun. Have fun in that snazzy car.
Ding ding ding ding ding! I think Ann and Bennie have the answer! I don't know how I missed that guy! Yes Bennie, I'm in your old stomping grounds. I was in Joplin all day today at antique malls. I'll post some picks later on!
Forgot to say Bennie -- I went to Miami by mistake on Wednesday when I flew in. I was supposed to turn off at Vinita to go to Oswego. I drove through Pitcher -- much in need of an E.P.A. cleanup. (and my relatives made part of that mess)
Sounds to me more like you were touring.
Ha! My grandfather used to drive us down there when we were kids because his family had a zinc (or lead?) mine. Pitcher is one ugly place! Miami is much bigger than I thought it would be. I can't remember ever being there (which is extremely odd since I grew up in Southeast Kansas). I stopped at the 'glass house' over the interstate at Vinita for a McDonald's cheeseburger. I remember when it was a 'big deal'. Now it's a little pathetic.
