Happy Double Nickel!

Well, it's a big one for me today. The double nickel. So I thought I'd wish myself a Happy Birthday and take the day off!




I saw a good quote from Mark Twain on a bulletin board at the gym the other day that makes a great birthday mantra!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

I'm off to explore and discover (my cake)! :)

    Happy birthday, baby! Have a great cake and eat it too! And think of L. He built a nursery onto his house and is helping raise the baby! Lora was just a warm up!
    He too, like me, is approaching the double nickel. Ahhhh...where did the years go?

    Thanks to all of you! I had a wonderful birthday! Our son came home on his way to Nevada and took us out to dinner (role reversal is great!). I hit the sales in the afternoon and really cleaned up with my birthday money! :)
