Happy Easter!
Craig keeps reminding me to look in the clouds for all the photos I lost when my laptop crashed a few weeks ago. Actually, the photos aren't totally lost. They're just buried in zip files on a backup device, and I'm reluctant to load all those files onto our current shared laptop. Long story short, I was editing another post this morning and noticed a file on Picasa Web Albums titled Old Family Photos. And there was the Easter shot from the 1950's!
1956 to be exact! My brother and I are on the grandparents' front porch. I'm still in full Easter regalia with my bonnet, purse, Mary Jane's, and the Easter bucket. My brother looks like he has a mouth full of candy!
The bunny skipped our house today, so if I want any Easter treats, I guess I'll have to hop on my bike and ride to the neighborhood grocery store.
Happy Easter!

Did bro's shirt have a yellow background? I think I recall owning that shirt too! Must have been my Juan Miro phase.
Beck, that photo is just ADORABLE...
(you must be 3 or 4?) how cute!
those old B&Ws are a great window to the past.
also, in your previous post--those shrines are fascinating. We have a few quirky ones around WI made by eccentric old guys! fun, & I need to get photos of them. -k
drgeo, I was kind of surprised at that dapper shirt. Lot's cooler than Garanimals!
Kris, I have a lot of old black and white's that I need to scan into the laptop. I'd love to see the photos of the WI shrines!
